William is originally from New Roads, Louisiana. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1986 with an undergraduate degree in Political Science. He then relocated to Jackson, Mississippi where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 1991. Following graduation from Mississippi College, William remained in Jackson where he practiced with a large defense firm handling premises liability claims, motor vehicle accident claims and general liability claims. In 1995, William and his family moved back to Louisiana, settling in Baton Rouge where he has practiced ever since. William’s practice currently focuses on defending automobile cases, premises liability cases and general liability cases. Over the course of his career, William has tried more than 50 jury trials in State and Federal courts in Mississippi and Louisiana. In addition to his litigation practice, William has been a member of the Perry Dampf mediation panel since 2013.
William is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State and Federal Courts, all Mississippi State and Federal Courts and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
