Scott grew up in Houma, Louisiana and attended H.L. Bourgeois High School. After high school, he completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in 2006. After completing his M.B.A. at Louisiana State University in 2008, Scott worked as a consultant for Deloitte & Touché in New York City. He then moved on to Barclays Capital in New York as an analyst for Barclays’ Equity Derivatives Structured Products. In 2013 Scott returned home to commence his studies at Tulane Law School and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2017. While studying at Tulane Law School, Scott and a group of law school classmates founded the Tulane Professional Football Negotiation Competition which continues to take place annually in January at the university.
Scott has a consulting and investment banking background. He has experience with business capitalization, business succession planning, startups, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, real estate, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities loans, securities fraud, business formation & planning, and is an expert in financial statement review and restatement.
Scott represents clients in negotiations to buy and sell assets, acquire equity financing, join strategic partnerships, real estate transactions, and enhance working capital through commercial and real estate loans.
