Born and raised near the heart of Acadiana, Paul Politz, a native of Napoleonville, understands the unique legal and political culture of South Louisiana. A graduate of Louisiana State University and Loyola School of Law, Paul is an aggressive litigator who always focuses on the most efficient and cost-effective path to meeting his clients' practical needs and achieving their desired outcomes. He does not always tell his clients what they want to hear, but rather what they need to hear to make clear-eyed choices and to achieve the best results in their strategic planning. Paul also effectively counsels clients on contract negotiations and business/risk management, including planning for effective insurance coverage and indemnification provisions. His diversified practice ranges from representing Fortune 500 companies in federal court to defending the small oil field service provider in Terrebonne Parish. Paul's background, legal skills, competitive nature, and common sense approach have resulted in tremendous success and high client satisfaction in matters ranging from premises liability, transportation, construction-related disputes, product liability and occupational disease claims at all levels, including the Louisiana Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
When he’s not practicing law, Paul can be found refilling his bird feeder in his backyard and attempting to learn the game of golf.
