Mark Assad is a Baton Rouge native, and obtained his undergraduate and law degrees from Louisiana State University.  For over a decade, Mark’s litigation practice has focused primarily on the defense of transportation, premises liability, construction, and bad faith claims. Before joining TWPD, Mark served as national counsel for a global online retailer where he managed a nationwide litigation portfolio.

Mark takes a proactive but practical approach to each case. He pursues early resolution of claims if in the client’s best interests, but is also ready and willing to prove his client’s case in court if needed. No matter what the case demands, Mark believes in clear communication to effectively counsel his clients.

When he is not practicing law, Mark can be found spending time with his family, lamenting his declining golf game or attempting to learn tennis.
