Lauren grew up in a rural area near Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in psychology. After taking some time to pursue a career in the elite horse industry, she continued her education at the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University. While in law school, she spent much of her time competing in moot court and mock trial competitions, where she quickly realized her strengths lay in written and oral advocacy.
Lauren has devoted her career exclusively to litigation. She has extensive experience in state and federal courts, as well as mediation and arbitration, where she has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants. Her primary areas of practice include general liability, insurance defense, and construction law. She has also worked closely with restaurants and the retail industry to successfully combat premise liability claims.
In her spare time, Lauren works as appointed counsel for the 22nd Judicial District Public Defender’s Office, where she represents juvenile clients. When she’s not in a courtroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, riding horses, and working in her garden.
