Jon’s practice is devoted exclusively to insurance coverage matters and is primarily focused on complex coverage litigation in state and federal courts throughout the Southeast. He defends insurers in first and third-party coverage disputes in the energy, marine, commercial auto, property and construction sectors, and is well-versed in the insurance products serving those markets. He has broad experience involving claims arising out of environmental pollution, including current and historical hydrocarbon and chemical releases. Jon has defended insurers in bad faith cases, class actions, mass tort cases, direct actions and declaratory judgment actions. Jon has also served as pro bono and court-appointed counsel for indigent clients in both criminal and civil litigation matters.
