For over twenty years, David has provided his clients with insurance counseling, insurance defense and complex insurance coverage litigation expertise. He has successfully represented domestic and international insurers and re-insurers in both first-party and third-party matters throughout the United States, and is well-versed in matters of bad faith. Whether in opinion counseling or in the courtroom, his work spans a wide range of policy contexts, from homeowners’ insurance to large-scale primary and excess commercial general liability policies.
David has also represented clients in the areas of premises liability, professional liability, and toxic torts. His diverse range of experience includes having helped serve as Special Counsel to the Attorney General of Louisiana in the largest civil litigation in U.S. history, the BP oil spill federal multi-district litigation. David is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in the state of Louisiana, and is also licensed in the states of Florida and Alabama.
