Colton “Cole” Hilgenkamp began his career as a paralegal, litigating personal injury claims in the Baton Rouge area for six years before eventually graduating from LSU Law in 2022 with honors. During school, Cole excelled in the courtroom by winning LSU’s trial advocacy competition and writing an award-winning brief for the Southeastern Invitational National Moot Court Competition. As a result of these accolades, Cole was nominated to the Wex Malone Inns of Court and the exclusive Order of the Barristers. Cole also clerked for the Honorable John W. de Gravelles of the Middle District of Louisiana.
Prior to joining TWPD, Cole joined a small plaintiff’s personal injury firm, giving him the benefit of nearly a decade of experience in handling third party injury claims. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
In his spare time, Cole loves to spend time with his family and loved ones, indulge in all the cultural festivities and sporting events Louisiana has to offer, and take the field for the Baton Rouge Tigers Australian Rules Football Club.
