Brinley grew up outside of Atlanta and attended Sewanee: the University of the South, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. After completing his undergraduate degree, Brinley gained valuable experience working in the commercial insurance industry before relocating to New Orleans and enrolling in the Tulane University School of Law.

During law school, Brinley was a member of the Tulane Environmental Law Journal, where he served as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor. He also participated in Tulane’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, providing pro bono work to clients in the New Orleans area.  

After earning his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane, Brinley joined TWPD where he works on the insurance coverage team in the firm’s New Orleans office.
